What’s the downside if it’s a scam? We lose 11 cents that amazon refunds? What is in it for the seller (especially if I pay with a Giftcard)?

The seller is scamming amazon.

With 11 cents for expensive items he reels in hundreds of thousands of buyers and prints fake receipts that say that the item has shipped.

After collecting 11c x1000000 he vanished and Amazon is left to refund the purchases...
