Everything 11 Cents? What's Going On Here??

The seller is scamming amazon.

With 11 cents for expensive items he reels in hundreds of thousands of buyers and prints fake receipts that say that the item has shipped.

After collecting 11c x1000000 he vanished and Amazon is left to refund the purchases...

Got to wonder why he chose 0.11 then? For .25 or even $1 he would've received the same response.

Conspiracy theory:
This seller has lots of Jewish friends, and knew that they'll all get the $5 credit from Amazon, so he made the account spread the deal, and got praise from all his friends 😂

I'm not so sure about that. I think he gets the money as soon as it ships. Many people that bought it got the notification that it shipped mere hours after the purchase.

There is something magical and addictively thrilling about 11c.

Also, if he isn't selling anything anyways, people are more inclined to buy 20 laptops at 11c each than 2 at $1 each.

I always have that guilty feeling when asking for compensation for my time and effort..

How many people did you speak to in those two hours?  Did you only go up one supervisor or more?  Did you HUCA a supervisor also?  Your post is after 3am.  Did you start this after midnight?  How many orders did you place?  How many items in total?  Lots of questions to help me understand your success.  PM is ok if you feel more comfortable.  Thank you!

Apparently when complaining about this seller, they somehow mistook it to mean that there was unauthorized usage on my account. So they locked my account "to look into it". Anyway, after speaking with lots of individuals it took about 2 seconds for a supervisor to "fix".
Now for some reason when they locked my account they couldn't issue the gift card, so I had to call them up to reissue it. First representative claimed it was a typo, because who ever heard of getting $150 from Amazon?!
Anyway, to make a long story short, turned out to be a minimum wage affare, we're in America after all

Took me about an hour.
