Do you think Southwest went too far?If it's because wearing a mask is viewed as a safe mandatory practice then there shouldn't be an exemption for under 2. I see no reason to distinguish between an autistic 3 yr old and a 2 yr old. Unless you need some cut off and FAs can't start using self discretion/ Common sense for exception
look at the poll results. I have no problem with requiring people to wear masks, but I'm sickened to see 116 people say it was ok for southwest to kick off a 3 year old autistic kid.
To play devils advocate, if it’s a safety issue and people are scared of getting sick, then why is it wrong to kick him off the flight. If he can’t wear a mask he shouldn’t fly. Will he not infect other passengers because he’s autistic?
