Doesn’t really belong here but I didn’t know where to post it:
I would treat this as the thread for discussing any games that aren't Catan.
DW recently bought Sushi Go and we really enjoyed playing it with our kids. Easy to setup/learn (though perhaps harder to efficiently strategize) and quick to play makes this 2-5 player card game a real winner. It’s advised to be 8+ but my younger kids caught on right away, albeit not necessarily picking up on every nuance.
This was actually the first game I bought when I was getting into board games. I'm not very enthusiastic
about it at this point, but I'd still play it. If anyone else wants to try it out, you can do so for free here
(expect a full game to take about 5 minutes):

Oddly, a podcast I listen to devoted an episode to it this week, which is what prompted me to finally respond.
You can
click here for an mp3 file or look for Decision Space on your preferred podcast platform.
(Beyond what they mention about it, Sushi Go Party, which does not require the original to play, goes up to 8 players.
It also includes a score track/tokens, though of course that's more relevant to Orthodox Jews than most others.
However, it seems that in SGP the deck is smaller and is reshuffled each round [except the end-game cards; you
add more of those]. Also not mentioned was the dice version, Sushi Roll, but that is far more different than Party.)
Also, here are some dude's ideas of good play.
