This is a deck-building game in which the players race to the end of the board. A deck-building game is one in which
each player has a personal deck of cards that they cycle through and can modify during the game. In this one, cards
must be spent to traverse various kinds of terrain on the map, but unspent cards are also how you pay for new cards.

Rock-paper-scissors variant (courtesy of Brendan Hansen of the Decision Space podcast):
You will need 3 tokens, representing rock, paper, and scissors, and a 2-space track for each token.
Place the tracks with one end toward each player and the tokens near them.
(You can also just have a dividing line and have the tokens off to one side at the start.)

Play rounds of rock-paper-scissors as normal. When a player wins a round, place the
token corresponding to the throw they used (R/P/S) on their side of its track. If it is
already on their side of its track, they have won the game.

Got codenames. Definitely was worth the ~$20 kept the kids busy for a nice few hours. I was worried it would be too hard for the younger kids. It was slightly but they managed.

Ice Cool 2 is an improvement (something about better reward cards, IIRC - the essential gameplay is unchanged).

Maybe it was just that the DDMS posts were for TtR Europe?
I can think of reasons to go with Europe over the original. (Possibly a better-balanced map as opposed to the
US map's west-heavy distribution of longer routes, stations preventing total blockage - though opinions may
vary as to whether that's good, full-size destination tickets, depots and warehouses in the expansion. By the
way, our preferred setup variant for Europe is leaving out the long tickets and instead dealing each player 6
normal tickets and having them keep at least 4. I don't know when the last time we played it was, though.)

(Oh, and Nordic Countries is better for 2-3 players, but it's only for 2-3 players.)

Has anyone here heard of the following Uno variant?

There is no scoring. Instead of a round ending when a hand is emptied, that player
draws 6 cards. The next time they empty their hand, they will draw 5 cards, etc., and
the game ends when a player empties their hand for the 7th time. That player wins.
