I remember after 9/11 many including myself didn't care if we tortured/killed terrorist in captivity.

I doubt there is a plan beyond destroying Hamas. This has been the problem since day 1. It's a problem that Israel's enemies created on purpose to destroy Israel

One thing, I would say that the Chevron massacre was a direct result of the Zionist actions of the time, from the time of the Balfour Declaration and before.
Herzel and Co were expounding these ideas way before "Occupation" of 1948
But that in no way disputes your point that their goal is to kill Jews, not just "re-occupy", just see what they call to do to Jews worldwide - and the way it's being done, etc.

It's a mixed bag since then. Keep in mind that there are some policies HE believed to be in IL's best interest and spins as support, but IL doesn't agree with him.
