The article says the exact opposite of what the URL says.

But those statistics might not be telling the entire story. Vice News reported Tuesday that ballots were not being scanned for delivery in an effort to speed up the process.

“What this means is the stats might look worse than they actually are, because in some cases postal workers have, for example, been manually postmarking the ballots and then passing them off for local same-or-next-day delivery, resulting in the ballots never being scanned into the system in the first place,” explained Vice reporter Aaron Gordon.

“Other measures, like sending ballots to the sorting facility but then removing them from the mail stream after they’ve been scanned and postmarked, means they are manually bypassing the rest of the process for expedited delivery and are thus scanned in and never scanned out.”

That article is clueless on how mail stream works. They are going to manually process mail faster. Now that is funny!!!

What possible legitimate reason could the PMG have for not conducting a sweep? This is just crazy how far they are taking this political stuff.

I know when I send mail locally, it goes to a sorting facility 3 hours away, and takes 2-3 days to arrive. Wouldn't it arrive quicker if the person in the post office separates out the local mail and keeps it local? Obviously that would not be possible with regular mail (because of the time/effort it would take to manually sort it) but if you have a large number of clearly identifiable envelopes going to the same address would that be so difficult?

You also need to manually postmark them. They use to have machines in PO's but that was also determined to be slower. Taking all mail to a P&DC is the fastest way. They have the employees to do it.

None. AFAIK we are not talking a ballot here and a ballot there. They are looking for trays, APC'c and BMC's.

The problem is counting the votes is likely too extreme of a remedy. It's things like this that made me support anybody against Trump.
