Properly fund USPS and ballots will have a quick turnaround just like regular first class mail.

Now if you want the ballots delayed or not counted at all like Trump then don't fund them.

You realize we aren't dealing with just the post office? The logistics of this are daunting even if it would have been planned well in advance. Pulling it off in 6 months is impossible.

I am just talking about USPS roll in this. It is not a big task for them. They have pulled off bigger tasks when they were at their peak every year during the holiday season.

And it's not just me. I know tens of people in my business missing merchandise from holiday season and USPS did NOTHING besides tell me that they'll find it and send it out.

And AFAIK from when Covid started even FCM was auful. I think feburary time. Mailed stuff for 3 days, came a week half later. Priority mail was fine for me.

Nope. USPS had everything for awhile before everything got lost.
And separately feburary time I was dropping stuff off at my local USPS and it would slowly move thru the system, stopping for no reason for days.

So if I buy from someone else who ships via USPS I can't complain because I didnt pay them to ship my item, the place I bought from did (but technically I did pay them thru the company)? And if I ship thru them my retail packages i should pay more money for insurance because they are awful and still not complain that I have to pay more, and can't complain that it got lost when I didnt pay for more for insurance?

This has nothing to do with what Trump is trying to do. We are going to have mail in voting. Either fund them or things will be a lot worse.
