"Could be argued" I think is the issue here. If you have a policy so important that you are removing passengers for violating it, there should be no room for "could be argued."

That's not how they word any other age-related policy, like lap children. But regardless, it doesn't match the policy they have on the website the supposedly changed on the 10th. So their excuse that she was notified with the check-in reminder has wording that is *at best* ambiguous, and not the clear wording that is currently up on the site.

All the news sites that received a response from Jetblue all note that they sent a copy of the check-in email but don't actually say what the check-in email says. What format was it in? Maybe someone on this forum can convert it or open and screenshot.

It't not a copy of her checkin email, it's from a flight to LAX.
XML format, which converted to gibberish when I tried.
