WTB LG (1-4TB) External HDD, NIB Only

Did anyone buy a large-capacity external HDD on Black Friday/Cyber Monday and realized they don't need it?

I didn't buy one over the past weekend,m and I refuse to pay (nearly) double the price for the same item just a few days late. Please let me know what you have and how much you're asking for.

In September I got a couple of 3TBs for $110 from Amazon, why did the price go up so much?

From what I was told, the reason for this hike in price is because of the recent  Tsunami in Japan. WD's factories etc were all damaged with all these products. So for a while, they will be expensive.

You mean it was an excuse to raise prices

(on BF there was deals on these items, if they really were scarce there wouldn't be any sleep discounts)
