Also, AYLOR.
Not all treatments are created equal in the eyes of halacha. Your LOR may vary.

After not being able to conceive within a period of time I was considering infertility treatment however IVF is over $30k and probability is small. Does anyone here have any experience or any alternatives like acupuncture?
Did you already try ovulation tracking and medication like clomid?
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

+1; We definitely feel for you and hope you the best but this is probably not the best place to discuss such personal matters.
@Luvtotravel is right. Atime forums is probably the best place to discuss these matters.
Not sure how it works but https://forums.atime.org/ and then probably click "Contact Us" to get a user name and password or maybe just email ADMIN@ATIME.ORG to get login information.
I haven't contributed to this thread but I can tell you when my DW and I started going down this journey I was very relieved to see it was being discussed on DDF. If we can discuss all of the other completely inconsequential things in JS how much more so should those of us who are struggling have a place to talk in a forum where we already feel comfortable.

+1. There is great value in normalizing and destigmatizing certain personal issues, and it can be done in a way that respects personal privacy and tznius.
Failing at maintaining Lurker status.

I agree 100% feel free to ask and post and if we can contribute, daven etc then sure!. but if someone is looking for valuable information they should look where all people are familiar with the subjects,  just like here you can ask about travel...

Yes. We've had major problems for 4-5 years until finally we decided on surrogacy... IYH we'll have a happy ending as our surrogate is 5 months pregnant :)
Updates please :)
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Ovulation tracking can be done, but taking Clomid or any other fertility drugs should really be discussed with a professional. There are downsides of these drugs, and need a case by case evaluation.
That's why you should def contact Bonei Olam or Atime, they can refer you to a doctor that specializes in the field you personally need help.
And who says it's a fertility problem at all? Could be she ovulates perfectly and there's something else in the way.

Everything you said is true, but those are usually the first 2 options.

Clomid should not be given before a thorough evaluation. I don't wanna go into specifics. But Clomid increases the chance of twins, and if the woman can't carry twins and she can lose both if she gets pregnant, that's just 1 reason she shouldn't take Clomid just like that.
And again, who says she's not fertile? Maybe it's something else, and Clomid would make here body produce more eggs, and help nothing.

It shouldn't (and can't) be taken without a doctor. My post was to make sure they're not skipping the basics, whether or not clomid is a good idea is something to discuss with a doctor. There are issues that can be resolved by other medications too.

You can ask a regular OBGYN for Clomid, and she"ll give it to you right away, if she's not a specialist in infertility.
That's what I meant to say.
