I use reviews pretty strongly in some purchasing decisions
I do too.
It's just that I don't expect to see any electronic gadget with a perfect score (there will always be someone disappointed that their i3/4GB RAM is slow... or that their Honda Civic doesn't do 0-to-60 in 1.5 secs...). And also I always take into account the price (yes, a $30 MP3 player will not be all good like some $300 one...
So when I see an item with a 4 star rating I'm not sure it's a פירחא on the item the fact that some people cry about it.
