Hi, does anyone know any good sources other than DB electronics for kosher mp3 players (no radio, etc)?
SanDisk 8GB Clip Jam MP3 Player, Red - microSD card slot and FM Radio - 20.99SanDisk 8GB Clip Jam MP3 Player, Red - microSD card slot and FM Radio - SDMX26-008G-G46R ($20.99)
ETA. TAG does it for just a $5 insurance charge
There is no charge however there is a $5 insurance fee to cover damage or loss of the device.
What's that supposed to mean?
Not sure, but I think it means that they pass along a charge of $5 from a company that covers if they mess up.
Then that should be optional, if I'm willing to take the risk they should do it for free.
I'm guessing people might be willing to take the risk, unless things don't turn out well. After a few experiences like that, they might not want to make exceptions :-)Do all TAGs do this?
Do all TAGs do this?
I think what they do is just remove the radio capability from s/t like this:So if you can get someone to do that, at this price, it may be worthwhile. ETA. TAG does it for just a $5 insurance chargeTOTAL: $25.99 which is cheaper than DB
That's a good deal. Back to 30
I recall that for an older very popular SanDisk mp3 player it was just a matter of downloading a different firmware from their website and installing it, to eliminate the radio.
Until they figure out how to switch it back to the original VERY easily.
Obviously. Same firmware update process.
Not even. You are able to choose between them each time the device bouts up.
