Now start praying they shouldn't ask you for his birth certificate / marriage license.

(No personal experience, but I heard from others that it can happen)

It's a united flight and It's ticketed already, should I still be worried?

Yes. They ask for proof a lot.... When is the flight for?

No. If something ANA will let you know that they need proof. But I think that you're close enough to the flight that you don't have to worry.

It's a stupid domestic flight in y, you think they will make a stink?
Also, if they ask for proof and I don't give it so they cancel the ticket?
Shut the account?

Question.   I followed Dan's workaround for searching for star alliance availability on the ANA website despite not having any miles in my account.   That works great,  but assuming i find a flight i want on a partner aitline,  how do i determine what all the taxes and fees and surcharges will be?   Since i have no mileage in my account,  the site won't list these fees but rather just says that i have insufficient miles to book and offers no more info.   I really want an idea of fees before i transfer my amex points there

Answer.
I read here on DDF to look on ITA matrix.
But I am not sure how this really works, because ANA can charge you a different amount of fuel for example when booking Austrian then if booking with krisflyer.

I'm looking at an itin
ewr-lhr (ua)
lhr-fra (lh)
fra-lhr (lh)
lhr-ewr (ua)

1)What will yq be, for united it is low but will the lh flights bring it up? Also only doing this to get out of UK fee- will this work?
2) What I really need is cle-ewr//ewr-lhr//fra-lhr-(ewr-)cle When I try this routing (There is avail for every step) it says I cannot stopover in orgin country. I also got problems with ewr-lhr//fra-lhr-ewr and ewr-lhr-fra-lhr-ewr-cle and even cle-ewr-lhr-fra-lhr-ewr-cle
Suggestions?

Suggestions?
So here is what I got after calling
EWR-LHR-EWR 63k+$190.80
EWR-LHR-ORD-CLE 68k+$301.80
EWR-LHR//FRA-LHR-EWR 68k+$238.90
EWR-LHR-FRA-LHR-ORD-CLE 68k+$373.80
CLE-LGA/EWR-LHR-ORD-CLE 68k+$307.40
CLE-LGA/EWR-LHR//FRA-LHR-ORD-CLE 68k+$250.10

The answer to 2) is that within departing country you can only have connections NOT stopovers and that you cannot pass through departure city enroute to final dest (hence the change to ORD). ewr-lhr//fra-lhr-ewr worked.

k so I would like to hold this but they keep claiming cannot hold if not enough miles in account. (Super dumb rule, as that is exactly what I am trying to accomplish, but I will not tranfer on the chance the maybe avail will still be there 2-3 days later)
So, any suggestions (I know HUCA)? or does anyone have 68k in thier account that doesnt mind holding for me?

Is it just me? I get an error page ('this page cannot be displayed') when clicking 'request international flight awards' that comes up in tiny print on the 'using miles' page. It worked in the past.
