I've always entered amounts like 120K-180K and I've done well (never spoke to any recon dept though).
What kind of things can I tell the "which'll fly"?

Just be creative. Either way, even half that amount ($60k which you can earn at a desk job) and you'll be fine, so ling as your other ducks are lined up (e.g. credit, utilization, etc.)

Report a lower amount and say it's your job. Or if the app asks for household income, include relative's incomes and report what you usually do,

Thank you for all your help. Last question (for tonight  ;D): Recon ALWAYS talks about your income no matter what? Or sometimes it's just a matter of moving credit lines etc. and they leave the income topic alone?

Depends on what they're worried about. But for the umpteenth time, if you sound confident they will accept what you tell them (within reason).

Nice chances of getting some of them WITH recon. It's no big deal to call them.

Should I call them now or wait for the letter?
What should I say when I call?

Update: got the rejection letter for CO and SP. In both cases the reason is "too many requests for credit or opened accounts with us" (I only have one Chase card).
Did not get any response regarding IB, could that mean that I got IB?
Should I wait to hear about IB before calling recon or call already?

Would make sense that IB may come at a different time as it's a business card and I believe handled differently internally at Chase.  Why wait for IB to call?

there is a search box on your upper left side of your screen....you will see it says simple machines forum--its right below there...after putting in the word reconsideration into that white box press search and that should bring you plenty of answers for this question and many others you may have

Do I have to somehow link my Freedom and SP UR malls? Right now when I log into UR they are 2 separate accounts.

SP UR Malls?
You can access UR mall from freedom or SP.  Just be sure to use the right card when you complete the purchase.  UR points can be swapped back n forth bet. freedom and SP.
If you don't care why would you comment?

They are automatically linked as long as you have both accounts sharing the same Chase login. How are you accessing the UR mall?

I log into Chase.com where all my accounts are listed. Then I choose a UR mall either via Freedom or SP.

Ah. If you signed in through ultimaterewards.com it would ask you which card you're signing in for, same if you choose 'switch account' at the top of the UR mall screen.
