R"S!
Might pay to get a PCR+ result for access to some countries in the future.

Thanks

Already have one from 9 months ago :P

I don’t plan on traveling anytime soon either way.

Probably only be recognized for 6 months or so, but if you definitely have no plans to travel for that time period, then there's probably no PCR benefit.

Bear in mind that it wouldn't be shocking if they add a recent vaccine booster or recent PCR+ requirement to fly domestically either.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I'm hoping that after Omicron ripping through the country now, it's antibodies will also help against Delta and other variants, and we get some sort of herd immunity with the huge number of cases.

Someone just posted a study suggesting that vaccine + breakthrough infection gives broad immunity against variants too, I’m skeptical.

There are people in our community who were vaxxed and got Delta (or Alpha) afterwards, and also got Omicron?

You got sequenced for Omicron?

I don't think they are legally allowed to tell patients which variant it is (because the sequencing testing is not approved).

I hear from those who go on mivtzoyim in Manhattan that there were many empty ones there - times square area- on Friday.
Perhaps at times it's worthwhile to take a subway there instead of waiting for hours in ch

Otherway around. Why should that matter?

Happens to be I know of one. Older lady, vaxxed, got Delta 3 weeks ago, and just got Omicron.

The other way around I don’t need anyone else, I’m vaxxed after COVID and still got it again

You got sequenced for Omicron?

No, but if it’s 73% of cases in the US and the highly contagious variety (I didn’t do anything risky, certainly not anywhere remotely crowded without a mask), with no known exposures, then it’s the likely option.

R”S. Is that the only symptom ?

Other flu/cold like symptoms, no fever. 2 days since onset, and IYH seem to be passing already. No taste and smell issues. YMMV.

Still awaiting PCR confirmation, only tested for that today.

I would think milder symptoms would also indicate Omicron as opposed to Delta.

Once again, DDF pioneers in the report of prodromal symptoms!

In 2020, we were first to discuss the peculiar failure to detect taste and smell.
And now we see that omicron is accompanied by an unexpected failure to detect sarcasm.

Are you being sarcastic?
