You had me at versatile uses but almost lost me at Cuba. If it had said "this is what Castro ate for breakfast as he thumbed his nose in our direction" I ight have lodged a complaint.

I'm confused, what does Cuban cuisine have to do with Castro? I'd imagine this food existed before Castro was even born.

America's involvement with Cuba has to do with Castro though America really became a world military power back in 1898 during the Spanish-American war where an American ship was sunk in Cuban waters. Our involvement with Castro just showed we couldn't really handle being a world military power as well as we thought :D
