Anyway to get them to upgrade the sapphire to Reserve (within a few months of opening). They told me can't be done, Huca or waist of time?

(I had a reserve which I downgraded to a freedom, can always reinstate that but then I have to downgrade the Sapphire and dont want them to take back the Sign up bonus)

IINM you can have two sapphire cards at a time via upgrade. You can't apply for a new card while you have one. You can upgrade the freedom to reserve without downgrading the preferred, it would involve paying multiple fees but it's better than losing the bonus.

 As well it's been a while a while since I opened a Chase card, do they offer the card number upon approval? Or what's the fastest one can get a card?
