Chase sapphire preferred 80,000 UR sign up bonus

Im almost at 48 months from my CSR SUB so when I PC it to a CFU to get the CSP bonus, Im concerned that when I PC back to CSR Ill get hit with the full $550 AF (I was just charged my $450 AF last week). Any data points on this?

I'm looking back at my statements and I just wanted to verify when the bonus can be gotten again. I opened card in December and the bonus posted during my Feb 2017 statement. Does it go by the closing date of that statement? So if my due date on that statement was 3/23/17 that would mean that I received the bonus on around 2/26/17?

Also, how long after getting the CSP SUB can I cancel it and PC back to CSR?

IME Chase wants to see a year credit on a CC from a different bank not AU before approving a low tier card.
Sapphire is a premium card and the minimum CL is 5k so definitely if you do try to apply rather do the freedom then a year later the preferred.
One exception is if you have existing banking relationship it will help out.

No risk just wait a week after downgrade for system to update before applying

The applicant is a joint account holder on a  CPC bank account. How does this change things?

I am trying to apply for my wife and cant recall her CSR reserve opening. I went through the statements and couldn't find it. Chase SM was not helpful. When applying for the  CSP via Dans link, is there a place they will tell me if I am in fact eligible for the bonus or if I received one in the last 48 months?

I want to downgrade my CSP to CFU and reapply for the SUB (been over 48 months). If I downgrade to CFU and don’t have a Sapphire card do I lose the UR points I currently have or just can’t redeem them until I get a Sapphire card?

you can redeem them for anything other than transfer partners and increased value in the portal
