I'm on the phone with AP now... No luck getting a stopover in KEF enroute to TLV
One hour phone call, rep won't hold flights & wants 135k miles (tlv-ny RT). WTF?!

The agent I spoke too told me it's an official promo, and they weren't told until when this would last.

Latest rep says something about the time of year. Might be holiday special maybe year end. Another agent wasn't sure if it'd be over in March

It could end at any point, since they're not saying when. If Dan posts it and people transfer MR to AC and don't get the discount, they'll be pi**ed @ Dan.

AP agents tell you to place them on hold & call amex to do the transfer when they have a reservation ready to be booked
A few rep's told me this & that's what I did so its proabbly standard procedure
Just a shame the transfer bonus didn't come In time

Agent told me that the promo has no expiration date meaning that it could end at any given time.
Ps I wouldn't wait to book a ticket.

I'm assuming this all means they are trying to sell a certain quantity of tickets so its open ended
