This is the type of thing Id expect from (legacy) Sprint, never heard of anything like that with T-mo.
I'm with you, if the device is compatible it would work like a charm.

Don't think T-Mobile would be of much help.

Registiring or whatver they call it now is very much done albeit automatically everytime bc the carries intergrated with Apple/ Google play services. Good techinichains still know how to....

How do you activate the NET10 99 dollar eBay plan on the LG classic from Tracfone, when I put in the phone's IMEI number it says"Device is registered in another brand"?

You may need to Rebrand the phone. Call or chat with Net10.

I just activated it with a different phone and put the sim in my phone and it worked fine.

Anyone know if Message+ works with TracFone? I have a Verizon phone that has the message+ app.

I'm actually loving it, I used to set up call forwarding for my smartphone to forward to my dumb phone via the smartphone settings and I would wait 4-5 minutes untill I would get it to work.
It just didn't make any sense to do it that way, so googled short codes and bam, just what I was looking for. I know it exists for most carrier's out there, I'm like TMobile has to offer that feature as well.
 Was dial **21*1(7181234567)#
Obviously put your own number in the bracket's. And IINM dial ##21#1 to disable call forwarding. And that works under 20 Seconds. A real bummer from the way I was doing it.

Simallar codes were used for activation. After going through the process enough times with phone reps, I wanted to just do it myself. Was very excited to find a backend system published on an MNVOs consumer portal were I could generate them almost instantly!

If I kasher an LG classic flip and use it for a year, will I still be able to unlock it?

(In other words does kashering the phone prevent it from being unlocked?)
