Try to send a WA to +1 (818) 822-6272. I’ve messaged him a while back.

No you dont have the best solutions....You had to wait for LG to fix the recovery blocking while I was able to do it without them. More importantly your filter is amatur work, your filter doesn't even allow the user to get voicemail notifications while mines works fine... Your work is nothing compared to my work. I was the 1st to do the Kyocera Cadence for Approved Link while you where desperate for something.
Having issues with my Kyocera Cadance, I don't have any filters installed currently,  and did a factory reset. But i still seem to have no luck. I'm using it on Tracfone Wireless if that makes a difference.
Wonder if others have had the issue in the past.
It seems someone else had the very same issue in the past.

Not so clear from your question, but if your issue is no  notification for new voicemail, you can try changing it by calling you're VM, and turn on notification in the administrative options, or if that doesn't work, you call your service provider to fix. I have had US Mobile be able to fix it in the past. With Tracfone though, all I can say is good luck. Their CS is dumber than doornails.

Yes that's my issue, though when I called my voicemail I don't remember hearing an option to turn on notifications.

I"ve had a lg classic for over 2 years. One day ( with out the phone dropping) my phone shows it has no service. I rebooted, put in and out sim card all without success. on occasion the phone will get service for a few minutes. When i put the sim in other phones it works fine. Any recommendations?

how often do you take sim card in and out? Are your sim card pins damaged?

Dirt in the sim card tray. Check those things first.

Unless other sims all work in the phone, it sounds like it broke.

Could be hardware or software, I’d say backup/remove anything stored on it that you care for, and see about resetting/flashing the software. But after two years it’s very possibly a hardware issue.

It is not the SIM card, or the slot. If it was, the phone would show "NO SIM". Its a combo of your phone and SIM, very common issue lately, You can try spending a few hours [days] fighting with tracfone reps and they can sometimes fix it. Better is to unlock your device and use it with a different carrier.

I have a bunch of classics that I purchased refurbished from Tracfone with the service plan (I had to buy the plan to buy the phone).

How do I go about activating these phones and getting them unlocked?

I find the easiest way to activate them is over the phone using the automated system because then you dont need to make an account with an email. As far as unlocking once the 60 days have passed just go to TFWUnlock and follow the prompts there and they should email you the unlock instructions.

Phone says it’s ineligible to unlock. It’s a phone from a while back. Why would that be?

How far back? If it was originally activated before 11/23/21 then you need 12 months of active and payed service.
