From what I've heard you can't rely on the mileage they say
I assume you mean you can't rely on what they say ONLINE. I sure hope big dealers are not rolling back the odometer (though I'm sure that happens too but that can happen anywhere)

There's a lot of bait-and-switch on these sites. They'll have a deal that looks amazing, Carfax and all, but when you get there, that car was magically just sold (it was an amazing deal, makes sense, right?). Somehow they have another, very similar car, a bit more miles, a few more dings, pretty much the same price, perfect for you! Until you see the car and have their off-the-lot price, don't get excited about a great deal on these sites. Once you've seen the car and it checks out, then I agree that:
This is also true, another reason to see the actual car:

Yeah, I read about the bait and switch alot. The real wild west out there.
I would not buy without actually seeing the car though. But my mechanic is on the east coast, not in Florida or who knows where  :-\

I don't know firsthand but from what I've heard...
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Used car prices are way up due to Covid. Does anyone with experience in the biz think they know when they will come back down?

The older models aren't great, but they redesigned them a few years ago and they are top-notch now. I actually like it better than the Sienna and Odyssey because it drives more like a car than a minivan. Of the people I know who have the Sedona, I haven't heard any complaints, and some bought on my recommendation, so I'd be the first one they'd tell  :).

@Lurker The power doors on my Kia Sedona (2017) stopped working. I thought I remembered reading somewhere on DDF of this happening to someone and that any Kia dealer will fix it free of charge. Is this correct?? Can anyone point me to that post? Pretty sure s/o wrote that on DDF. TY

Haven't run into this issue myself, but calling a dealership should give you a very quick answer.

Frum dealer I purchased from told me Kia covers this and it is very very common. TY for your quick response!

Know someone with this issue but only happened sporadically. Every time he was by the dealership it operated correctly. It seems there is some sort of recall and they extended the warranty til almost forever.

Looking into purchasing a 2017 Kia Sedona. A top mechanic told me they are good vans. Can anyone comment on their experience (or that of others they know have it) with the Sedona ?
IMHO stick to the Sienna. Better engine and holds it's value longer.

according to consumer reports, reliability tanked for the Sienna starting with ’17. While the Sedona 2017 has a 5/5 reliability.

Yup happened to mine didn't repair it yet, Toyota says they have a warranty on some door parts (due to a recall) but I would need to take it to inspection to see if it's covered

The Ubers in NYC with Siennas have a sign on the door "automatic door."
Maybe less pulling on the door will help.
