To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Pulls from TU in NJ, NY , FL , PA

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

I am on the phone right now with them as my wife...
I've never had issues saying i am her with her social etc.

Same with all other banks.

I want to call the reconsideration line for this card on behalf of my wife. Does anyone know if they will give me a hard time if I call on behalf of my wife?

What's your wife's name?
My wife's name is Esther. With my voice, it could raise an eyebrow.

IIRC, there were a few stories on DDF of people who got into a lot of trouble doing these thing.
Just saying. The safest bet is, have your wife call and verify herself, and ask them to speak to you.

Tried calling as my wife. They didn't believe me. Asked me a ton of personal questions and finally they told me that I have to mail in drivers license copy of SS card and copy of bill.

Is that standard?

Yes. Read my comment above. I would avoid doing what you did.
Some people have been asked for a lot more evidence.

Just spoke to an account specialist. Asked to downgrade to Arrival.  Said not possible, but I can certainly apply.

Does barclay allow you to shift credit from one card to another (both already approved) without a pull?

1. What did you click?
2. Why did you shift cl?
3.  This was before you cancelled or downgraded?

Explain? You shifted credit from credit card B to the new USAir CC so they didn't have to approve new credit for you?

Is it worth applying for the Arrival+ now the same day as approval for USAir so it is only one TransU pull?  They have no special offer going, just 40k.

This one?
Oh.  Thanks.  I was trying to use Dan's.

I know wrong thread.  I'm on phone with them.  What was the old Lufthansa offer?  Not 50k?  They are saying only 20k.   I want to apply for either the Lufthansa or Arrival still now before they close.
