To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

Some are up to their 3rd and 4th account

I have looked up my email correspondence with them from when that account was closed. All the writing there implies that it was this account that was the problem, does not say anything about banned for life or do not create another aa account etc..

Just spoke to an account specialist. Asked to downgrade to Arrival.  Said not possible, but I can certainly apply.

HUCA #4 or 5.  After the Rep said "I'm sorry, this is the best card for you, no downgrade is available," (what kind of nonsense is that, telling me a card with an AF is the best card for me after I said I want a card with no AF)  I asked to speak to a supervisor.  Lady picks up, IDs herself as a manager.

Manager:  So you want no AF?

Me: Yes

Manager launches in to the disclosure for the downgrade to the no AF US Airways.  I let her finish.

Me: Actually, now that I hear I lose all those benefits,  I think I'd rather downgrade to the Arrival, as it has no forex fee.

Manager: Sure, thats an option, I'll just have to read you a different disclosure.

Me: Sure, I love disclosures  :)

Downgraded to Arrival with 10k bonus for 1k spend  8)

Thanks
Might be easier if you don't have any Barclay cards currently open.

They told me that the bonus points post the statement closure after the annual fee posts and you pay the one dollar. So it's basically the second closure. CMIIW
