To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Pulls from TU in NJ, NY , FL , PA

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

If I get declined from Barclays for having too many credit inquires and too many accounts opened does that mean I should slow down for fear of a chase A/A?

First of all, Barclay and Chase get their inquiries from different sources.
There's no clear line. But just being denied credit, certainly does not mean you crossed it.

I don't know if that's too much. Maybe some more experienced fellows could chime in?

Not as far as I care. Whichever they give you the best retention bonus on.
Never heard of them prorating the fee, but ask and post back. If it's still refundable, it will be a full refund.Wow. How many cards do you already have with them? Do you have a lot of new accounts from other banks? Are there many inquiries on your TU?Who ever said there was a 7 day rule?

Called them today and they ended up refunding me the full AF (that had been posted in my October statement.). was very easy to be honest.

My USAir fee posted 1.5 months ago, when I called then, they wouldn't waive but gave me the 5k after $1k spend offer which I took (I know, dumb I should've been more stubborn for the AF).. Anyhow I just called again (after reading the last few posts here) trying to get the AF waived and the rep wouldn't do it, but she gave me another 5k after $1k! I hope all 10k actually post!

Did it require another pull? I did mine as a 2bm, by the time I figured out that they didn't pull, it was the next day so I didn't ask them to resubmit it.

Nice, what were you able to tell them to open it up? They wouldn't budge by me, tried lots of times.

do people request a fee waiver when they cancel, or even while keeping it open, they are generous with waiving and refunding the AF?
