To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Pulls from TU in NJ, NY , FL , PA

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

What are the latest successful methods for getting AF credited?  I don't want to downgrade because I'm afraid of losing my referral bonuses.

"Be creative," seems to be the latest response to that question.

Doesn't it go to your mileage account ?

I'm sure it does.  But it starts with the bank.  I got the link because I had the card.  I don't want to rock the boat.

So I downgraded my USAir a few weeks ago and acrivated the new card a few days ago. You can't see it on the website anymore, but in the phone menu, it's still there (the menu has both the old and the new card). Anyone else have this?

Yes, and you can apply for another one, if that is what you're asking.

The whole idea of downgrading is, that the rep won't see your old card, but if the phone system still has it, maybe the rep can see it too. So recon won't approve me.
Bump
Not that I can think of. OTOH, is there a reason yes to do it now?
Maybe it's good to keep your options open. Maybe there will be some last minute promos or something.

Good luck. If it wasn't auto approved, chances are slim.
I haven't seen 1 report of recon (knowingly) approving a 2nd card.

Do you already know if the 2nd app was a pull?

Fico is a score. Ignore the score there.
The report is real. There's no FAKO report.

Not sure how often they update this but did the app for my wife yesterday (2 apps: 1 approved/1 not) and it shows as one only currently.

If there was a pull, it would show instantly.
So no pull.

Does the 15k/3 month promo usually take 6-8 weeks to post?
