Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

Or look on your credit card statement to see if they awarded you the miles. If you see that they did, it's all a matter of finding them.

I had a similar issue recently, Barclays created me a new FFN.
Do the following.
1. Check your statements to see if the 50k was awarded.
2. If it's there, call Barclays and get the FFN from them.
3. Go to AA.com, with the FFN press "Forgot My Password".
4. If you get an error while doing step 3, call AA and they will sort it out (can be because an email address isn't on file)

I guess this is goodbye.
I applied a month ago, so now was the last recon without another pull.
I had another card which was downgraded almost 5 month ago and closed a month ago, but all the reps insist that according the their records I just voluntarily closed a USair card a few weeks ago.
I must have made more than 10 calls already, but all to no avail. Only managed to get the bonus once. Oh well...

(the rep said the app remains in the system for 90 days, so maybe in 2 months I could try again. I wonder if they will agree to open a card that has been discontinued 3 months before just because I applied before the deadline)

Please!! someone help!! I referred more than 5 people who were approved but I never got my member get member referral of 10k each. I opened a case with Executive office. They came back and said "we see you referred 57 freinds, but no one actually applied through your links!" They don't want to overturn the decision of granting me the 50k points, even though I can show them the proof of the approved friends and their card numbers. What should I do?

Did you confirm with your 5 friends that they applied through the link in the invitation email?

I had a similar issue in that I didn't automatically get the referral bonus. I emailed them with the date that I sent the referral and the full name of the friend that I referred and they emailed me back saying that I will get the 10k points on my next statement. I guess try that. All you can do in a situation like this is keep trying.

Yes. Points showed up on the next statement as they said it would. From my short time with them, it seems like they suck at applying bonus points and they need several reminders. Still waiting for my retention bonus to post.

I have the Barclays us airways card... I am flying today on American purchased with ba I did the Finn air workaround and put in my us airways number and when I got to check in today it automatically changed it to my AAdvantage account and I got a free bag

Hey guys, I tried today to put my AA number into my BA booking on Finnair but, when it showed my itinerary I clicked update details and then it showed a few drop-downs. In one of them titled "Frequent Flyer" it showed British Airways but it was like the webpage froze it to that option and I couldn't change it to AA. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance to all responses.

You can do it from AA's site directly.
