To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Pulls from TU in NJ, NY , FL , PA

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

I just lowered the CL on my two other Barclays to 1.5k and downgraded my current US Airways to a no-fee Barclays (and a 10k bonus for spending 1k).
Anyone know how long it takes their systems to reflect the downgrade change? How long did you wait to apply between downgrading and reapplying (in a scenario where you had to speak to recon and they couldn't tell you had the US Airways card before)?

i keep getting really bad reps...called again today for 2nd and 3rd time.  2nd person said there are no options to switch to something else.  HUCA'd and this person now is saying there is no other us airways option which i know.  after suggesting the arrival or rewards they are saying it would be a new application with another credit pull.  is that normal?  already hung up and said i would call back but i thought that was strange.  anyone else with these issues?

Call again. I had no problem turning my US Air into an Arrival on Friday. Furthermore they were happy to tell me that this is a "product change" and will NOT cause a pull.

Some people have it harder to downgrade. Keep trying. Ask for supervisor.

Tell me about it. I always have to run after my wife to start the calls for me. (If you knew what she makes me do in exchange  :) )
But once she verifies herself, I can usually finish it myself. (Even if I callback within 24 hours, they'll still talk to me)

Anyone know what the pic on top is talking about? There's a BoA US Airways card, and it's being folded into Barclays?

Do you mean you'll get 40K points on the new Arrival card?

I have 2 Barclays US Air cards. Applied for a 3rd card. Got declined immediately. Should I close the older one or try to merge the credit lines? And then reapply? How long should I wait? Or should I ask to convert one to an Arrival Plus? And if I do that, will I get a 40K point bonus after spending required amount?

Not everyone gets that. I always get 1K on 1st purchase.
