To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

A friend of mine, closed his just after me and was declined about a week ago for already having the product in the past.
People were posting success getting a new one within weeks of downgrading.

Good luck. At least it's closed long enough that they shouldn't try to reopen it.

Ye, although I'd rather have my old card than no card. Murphy's law says the aviator card will get some perks down the line no other card will get.

HUCA #1 - Ed from Delaware, he saw everything, the card I switched to arrivals in August, the card that I closed in November, he said the T&C costly say you can only get this once. After I convinced him of my story and told him that I'm ready to take the card without the bonus (and discussed the weather), he put me on hold and came back empty handed. No pull.

I see tpg put out his prediction that the Barclays us air card will no longer be available starting march 20. Is this a date that there is reason to believe it will disappear ?

B/c that's largely unknown, best to apply ASAP. Some say Mar. 20, but some say April 12. I wouldn't push it off.

He picked March 20 probably because AA & USAir suggest on their website to link FF accounts before March 20 for a smooth transition... we shall find out in a few hours if that holds true, probably not.

Anyone have success lately with applying for a US airways card while still having one? They're not letting me downgrade
