To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

Recon 866 408 4064 (might pull from Experian)

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

I just did a 2bm for my wife with Arrival card and US Airways. I clicked Arrival first and was instantly approved. I clicked US Airways within 10 seconds and got this message "We are sorry we are not able to complete your application decision right now, additional time is needed. Please do not complete another application. Further information about the status of your application will be mailed to you. Thank you for your application."  I know they have been giving trouble w/ a 2bm just figured id give it a try. Ill keep you posted.

I did the same and got the same result.
Should I/we call Recon or wait for a determination?

so I just got an email , saying if i refer someone to the Usairways card - I get 10,000 bonus miles ..

the thing is the link for the referral is for the 30,000miles, annual fee not waived ....

Has anyone ever applied for the 30k and AF not waived card, and then call and match to the 35k AF waived ?

I would not take the chance with Barclays, they are impossible to deal with.

It appears (As others have mentioned here) that Barclays is trying to rid themselves of the miles they purchased from U.S. Airways before the merger is complete.

Anecdote:
Friend spent on his USA card and wasn't approved for a Lufthansa card.
Wife didn't spend on the same card at all, canceled the card and was instantly approved for the Lufthansa card a week later.

It actually makes sense according to the Barclays thinking.

How long does it take to get the us miles after meeting the spending threshold?

They held them until I paid the annual fee.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Was that a retention bonus or just a special offer?

(Have no clue when the miles will post, sorry)

Usually takes 2 months, but on one account I had to call in after 2 months and they said they see I should have received it but will take an additional 10 weeks to post (it's around 3 weeks since then).

Just as an aside for the Wiki - I recently did a Barclays pull in CA and it was from TU also.
