To signup for credit cards you can click here or on the “other credit cards” tab on top of the DansDeals logo banner to view links for card offers. Then just click on the link to “View all card offers by issuing bank” and scroll down to view all card offers from the bank of your choice.

For those who want to churn and/or want to get the bonus without paying the annual fee: Wait until the A/F gets charged, pay it off with the rest of the bill, and the sign-up bonus will post (at the end of that billing cycle). Then call to close the account and ask to be refunded. They can't charge an A/F for a card you aren't using. You will not lose the miles once they are in your US Airways account.

It seems that if after you use the card you just let it sit unused for a couple months, they will then email you with a targeted offer for 15,000 more points for spending $750 a month for three months.

I want to get the bonus, close, and reapply as quickly as possible. How long do I have to wait after applying/closing to reapply?
I've never had a card from Barclays before

I closed over a week ago but when I log into Barclays, I can still see my card there, albeit with "limited" features since it is closed.

Does this make a difference?

Not sure how Barclay works, but with Amex and Chase, you can still view the closed credit cards. You can also request it be removed from template.

That's what I am asking. Does it make a difference that I can still see the closed account when logged into Barclays?

Can we hear from anyone who did a quick turnaround between closing one card and opening the next?

IME made quick turnaround without any problems, the old card will stick around on your online profile for a while.

Is the 35k with no annual fee 1st year dead?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

There are ways to get the fee removed. Others have been able to downgrade to the regular arrival card and others have been offered 5,000 miles for an additional $1k spend. YMMV when you call to argue about the fee.

Originally approved for 30k offer w fee, saw 40k offer and was eventually matched. AF posted ~20 days ago, miles posted in my dividend miles account - should I close or downgrade to avoid AF? PR said have 30 days to cancel and get fee back... Thoughts?

Call in and see what they offer you. Have an open mind.
