A) Cut out the autotune

B) I wasn't so into the venue. Renting out a Chasuna Hall and filling it with 20 guys in suits dancing.....
Seemed a bit strange choice to me......

There is nothing wrong with using Autotune in moderation. It actually adds a nice effect to a song. The problem is, that it is overused nowadays, and you can't tell what some singers really sound like. In this case you could hear his real voice the whole song, but they use AT for the effect at one part of the song. Nothing wrong with that IMO.

It seems to me that this song is being marketed as (and is) a catchy wedding song, therefore the location seems pretty appropriate...

I doubt they paid for it...free advertising for the hall...if they did i'm sure it was just to cover the workers to come in for a couple hours

It is not always so obvious to detect whether auto-tune is being used.
In this song, there are only several times where the auto-tune is OBVIOUS. But me-thinks that a good singer would have been able to modulate well and achieve the same result in those places without auto-tune.
Which only makes me wonder whether he has good voice control in general, or is auto-tune being used throughout the entire song?
