Most of my taste is good again. But I had wine last week that tasted like poison.  I thought it wasn't fresh so I let my friend taste it and he said it was perfect.  I will try it again tonight. Hopefully it can still taste good before purim ;)

From what I remember - dry red tasted sharp and vinegary, but sweeter wine like Rose tasted mostly normal

It's perfectly normal to spit wine out after tasting it

It was dry red wine.  The bartenura cans tasted almost perfect. A tinge off.   But red wine was very bad.

Yes, I've had issues with those for about 30 years now.

Interesting, this is the first article I've seen with people that share my exact experience. Garlic, onions, meat, coffee, all tasted disgusting, along with a distorted, putrid sense of smell. Hope whoever is going through this recovers quickly, it's really torture.

So are you completely over it, @yuneeq ?  The article implies some people are still having residual smell distortions months later.

Yep completely over it BH. After 3 weeks of both taste and smell extremely distorted, it went away very quickly - like 100 to 0, over the span of 3-4 days. If I still had to deal with it I would probably be in a mental home by now. Far, far worse than not smelling or tasting at all.
