I cant stand boiled eggs anymore. Hard boiled or even egg drop soup. But fried eggs taste just fine . Haven't noticed anything else and it's been almost 10 months.

I know someone who had that for about 8ish months

My smell has mostly returned (some smells only if I concentrate, and all smells only a whiff, not the full blown sensation), and the one thing that I have noticed smells bad is cloves. Anything else smells the same, just weaker. I don't smell any shampoos for some reason.

Same here. Any solutions to get back to normal?

My kid can't stand any type of eggs anymore (was breakfast for years).

Not a big deal at all but feel like I lost tolerance to spicy foods. Either that or suddenly red hot chips are a lot spicier than ever.

Also doesn't like hot sauce chips anymore (was a consistent snack).

I still like them, perhaps more so. They were barely spicy for me and always felt lacking, it tastes the same just spicier.

I didn't try anything really. They say to try aroma therapy (basically smell a bunch of different strong smells that you are familiar with and imagine the smell that you remember) to trigger the smells again or something like that.

It tastes oniony to me. First I thought my toothbrush needed replacement and then realized it's the toothpaste that tastes funny.

Another covid victim,  my favorite sandwich.

I had a Sliced egg sandwich today and it tasted so weird.

It's weird that the food looks the same yet it hits my mouth and does something completely different than usual.


(There is some spray that is supposed to help. I hope to get it in the next few days)

I don't want to make anyone jealous, but so far I have not found anything to taste different/off after my Covid experience.

Too bad on my dietician, who was hoping chocolate would start tasting like asparagus.

Weirdly these taste/smell disorders may emerge months later. There's still hope for a diet.

I like asparagus, but if I would eat chocolate as much as I eat asparagus, I wouldn't have qualified for monoclonal antibody treatment.
