I like asparagus, but if I would eat chocolate as much as I eat asparagus, I wouldn't have qualified for monoclonal antibody treatment.

See, I always knew chocolate is good for your health.

I don't want to make anyone jealous, but so far I have not found anything to taste different/off after my Covid experience.

Too bad on my dietician, who was hoping chocolate would start tasting like asparagus.
or maybe asparagus will taste like chocolate!

Quote
I OWE MY LIFE TO CHOCOLATE

A good piece of chocolate has about 200 calories.
As I enjoy 2 servings per night, and a few more on weekends.
I consume 3,500 calories of chocolate in a week, which equals one pound of weight per week.
Therefore...In the last 3 1/2 years, I have had a chocolate caloric intake of about 180 pounds. And I only weight 120 pounds, so.....without chocolate, I would have wasted away to nothing about three months ago!
Sooo in my book, I owe my life to chocolate...Good logic, no?

I like asparagus, but not covered with chocolate.

Could actually be interesting with dark/bittersweet chocolate, maybe salted as well.

Which foods?
I think I identified the flavor and smell that I sense - gasoline.
Toothpaste, mouthwash, cherry flavored candies, Moscato (hoping not all wine), non melted chocolate chips and recently noticed cantaloupe.

Did you consider checking for a gas leak in your kitchen?

It is not specific to my kitchen and it is only me.

gas doesn't smell like gasoline

(they actually add something to gas in order to make it smell. It's odorless otherwise)

FWIU the natural gas some of us cook with doesn't smell at all. They add additives that smell so that people smell an otherwise invisible gas leak.

I recently heard a story about R' Dovid Solovetchik Ztz"l. It was his Shabbbos Sheva Brachos and he was late for davening. The Brisker Rav said that it's impossible that he would be late if everything was OK. He was even matir them to break down the door on shabbos because of his conviction. Sure enough, there was a gas leak (it was before they started adding an odor) and Rav Dovid and his kallah had both passed out from it. And they were saved because Rav Dovid's commitment to coming on time to davening was so strong, that it was obvious to his father that even during sheva brachos he wouldn't be late.

I think it was about R' Meir
IIRC R' Nissan Kaplan says it over in regards to saying Shira, (you may find it in Beshalach or Yisro shiurim?) that the Rov told over the story to everyone who came to the Sheva Brachos "did you hear what happen to my Meir?"

So after 10 months I found something else that is off. Hard boiled eggs I've known for awhile now, but I had a cholent last night that tasted acrid. Tasted from 2 different pans from the same caterer and both tasted like that. No one else had the problem. I have no idea what is in it that causes me to taste it like that l.
I'm not who you think I am.
