1)Does anyone know if there is a way to have a credit check done without a SSN (i.e. with a credit card)?
2) would there be any other problems with me being canadian and trying to get the SERO plan?
3) If I need to order it over the phone (which I will cause I dont have SSN) will they give me problems with the savings@sprintemi.com as the referral address?

TIA

Verizon runs on the 850 MHz band of CDMA, Sprint runs on 1,900MHz band of CDMA.
Having access to both is a huge (and little publicized) advantage of Sprint over Verizon.

How do I know which phones are compatible to both verizon and sprint?

many sprint phones can roam on verizion's network so you pay sprint prices and get verizion service , these phones can even be setup to use only verizon (only roam)

I know all Samsungs and Palms have forced roaming options.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Dan most Sprint Phones you can make it roaming only, if you look most Sprint Phones run the same software, so it's in there as an option, i did it on 2 LG Musiq Phones, and Samsung m300 (as you said samsung) LG Fusic.

What's the best deal for a couple who want a family plan but one will use most of the minutes (ie: 750 - 250)? Thanks to all.

Again 2 sero plans. You can get a 500 min for $30 plus a 1250 min for $49 with free internet and text.

Scrable, you'd be 100% right, the only thing is that I'm talking about people who don't need internet and text. Can they do better?

How much you looking to pay?

Guys good news, the Sprint unlimited everything plan has something great with it now, you can add lines for $9.99 to share the unlimited everything besides the minutes, which is pretty good for some-1 who needs to lines but dosent need unlimited mins on both.

How many minutes do you get on the additional lines? If 0, how much does it cost to add minutes, because if it's $30, you're better off with a separate SERO plan.

Im now sure about that, but thy might have a $49 add on line for the unlimited mins, that's what t-mobile has, thy may have the same.

The least possible for a bare bones plan. (personally I opted for a Sero plan on the Centro but they only want to be able to talk) Thanks.

its still worth it to go with the Sero $30 500 mins X2 that's what a regular family plan will run you, maybe a bit more even. 700 min $69.99 no text or internet, your getting it anyway, yes you dont need it you said but its still cheaper.

Do you know if the $9.99 includes unlimited blackberry? Does the SERO plan in general include BB?

I'll sort of answer my own question. The $99.99 unlimited plan on SERO comes with free BIS (Blackberry Internet Service). If you need BES (if you don't know what this is then you don't need it) it's $20 more. And check this out...for $40 (instead of the $20 if you need BES, or $40 total even if you don't need BES) you can get unlimited international data roaming for your blackberry. This plan doesn't seem to be offered for the other SERO plans. Maybe you can call them and get it. In my opinion, having unlimited everything in the states and unlimited blackberry out of the states is great.
