It wasn't a failure. Saying "stand back and stand by" to a white supremacist and borderline neo-nazi group was an affirmative choice. He said (and didn't say) what he did because, at this point in the election, that's what he thinks will help him win. He doesn't want to alienate white supremacists.
Not sure why "stand back and stand by" isn't the end of Orthodox support for him. On the Daily Shoah podcast, the neo-nazi host said that if the Proud Boys “were pressed on the issue, I guarantee you that like 90% of them would tell you something along the lines of ‘Hitler was right. Gas the Jews.’” (source: https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/group/proud-boys)
You guys sit here and say Trump made a mistake, what a missed opportunity. Have you considered that these mistakes are things to be concerned about rather than forgiven?
Full Disclosure: my friend works in the WH and interacts with President Trump on a regular basis.
The fact is President Trump is the most pro Jewish and Israel president in the history of the US.
His family is Jewish, he is surrounded by Jews. And his policies reflect that.
He has condemned white supremacy, KKK, Neo Nazi's and white supremacists like David Duke dozens of times.
OTOH your candidate refuses to condemn BLM which is an anti semitic and neo marxists group, and Antifa a fascist group which have been terrorising this country for years at this point, have caused billions of dollars in property damage, and have killed many people.
This is a binary choice!
