Trump did much better last night than in the first debate. If he debated the way Pence did, he could have landed a knockout Blow to Biden. Alas, Trump is Trump, and he did surprisingly well for who he is.

It’s really difficult to say who is in the lead right now. If we go only by polls, it’s clearly Biden.

However, there is zero enthusiasm behind Biden. There aren’t really any “Biden voters”, only “Democrat voters” and “anti-Trump“ voters. They don’t like Biden, they just hate Trump. Trump on the other hand has tremendous enthusiasm among his base.

The question is, how much is left of Trump’s 2016 coalition, and is there enough Trump- hate to drive out high turnout on the Democratic side?

Enthusiasm drives people to the polls. Not hate or negativity.

Its not a question anymore we know democrat counties have record turnouts

Sure. Don’t accuse NPR of not publishing news when the WSJ itself doesn’t consider it news, and for good reason - as I posted earlier it’s completely bogus. There was no business actually done in China and there is no record that Joe Biden was involved - only the ‘understanding’ of a failed partner

The only thing that was debunked were things that were never claimed.

Let me make a list for you, and you can tell me where I'm wrong

Hunter Biden was making money off of his last name - Confirmed
Hunter Biden was making money by offering access to his father - Confirmed
Hunter Biden received Five Millon Dollars from a company closely connected with the CCP - Confirmed (iirc Hunter claims it was a loan)
Hunter Biden arranged for (at least one of) these people to meet his father - Confirmed
Joe Biden lied about never discussing Hunter's business dealings with him - Confirmed
Joe Biden was profiting from said business dealings - Credibly alleged with limited documentary evidence
Joe Biden had stock in said companies -Never alleged
A Biden associate said that if this gets out it will "bury all of us" - Confirmed (on tape)

You'll notice that the Biden campaign never denied most of the allegations. They never denied that the emails were real. They never denied that Biden met with Hunter's Ukrainian partner (only that it was not on the official schedule). They never offered an alternative explain for who "the big guy" is. They are relying on the media to cover for them to get Joe across the finish line, and you bought it hook line and sinker.

I agree but I think the small minority who are invested enough to actually vote based on fracking are probably fairly educated on the topic. On the other hand you have a great deal of people who are obsessed with the environment

Either that, or they are sophisticated enough to remember that in the past he promised to end all fracking and perhaps he's a lying about only trying to stop it on federal land.
