They raised the price of the car?
MSRP is set by the manufacturer.
Selling price is always determined by the dealer. So they raised the selling price?

The only change of price that I know about is between this month and last month. Every month car companies roll out new pricing. For instance the dealerships were paying Chevrolet $1,200 less for the Bolt last month, therefore the price was cheaper to lease.. Though every dealership can charge what they want to.

IINM they can charge more than MSRP.

I just got 2 of these today. The dealer is not taking anymore reservations at the moment. He has almost 100 people on the waiting list. Final total after NJ 5k rebate was $3,000 for 36 months with 10k miles, and $750 for $7,500 damage waiver. I will keep the forum updated if anything changes in regards to reservation availability. Please do not pm me in regards to this lease as I cannot help you.
Very cool! What is the buyout cost at the end of the lease?
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

I called a dealer in NJ today, he said pricing changed and currently would come out 5400 for 10k/36 months after everything that’s 150 per month. If anyone has a dealer with the old pricing please let me know
NJ gives a rebate so demand should grow so supply should increase. Not for price to grow and demand remain stagnant. They have to figure out how to make this rebate price increase proof.

Regular outdoor plug if you have a lot of time. Level 2 chargers are relatively cheap to install and will cut the time to charge by a lot.

What does RELATIVELY CHEAP mean for a level 2 charger, APPROX.?

It's just the cost of running a new circuit from the circuit box to the charger location. Shouldn't be much more than a couple hundred dollars.

A 40 amp level 2 charger costs about $400. You need to have a 220 volt outlet to plug it in to.

Hi, Any idea which electrician could put in the plug for the Chevy Bolt (Lakewood NJ)? I think you also need some special piece, NO?

So basically you’re talking an extra 600 to more like 800 to get a reasonable overnight charge. You are starting to approach the price of some of the standard car cheaper lease deals with more hassle.

Can you give me a contact/email of someone that can do it? Or had it done by his house?

I need 2 done in Lakewood

Even at $800 over 36 months you're talking about an extra $22 a month, so not a big difference. Plus, this is now a capital improvement to your house and can continue to be used after the lease expires if the lessor obtains any EVs in the future (which seems likely for everyone eventually).

Plus the savings of not using gas.

Unless you're expecting to drive 50+ miles per day, the 120v charger should be enough.

Yes and no.
If I decide I want to travel more than 50 miles at any given moment I'll have to make myself crazy where I can charge my car the night before.

in my opinion it's worth it to get the faster charger and unplug it should you feel you don't need more and that way you'll save on electric.
Or just fill it up that way you don't have to charge it the following days.

In my opinion it's a win-win getting the better charger.

Can someone who actually has one of these cars tell me what they're paying for insurance per month?

I heard it's quite costly is that true?
As parts on an electric car requires a lot more knowledge than repairing a gas powered vehicle with an engine and all.
