How do you charge it? How does it work?
Regular outdoor plug if you have a lot of time. Level 2 chargers are relatively cheap to install and will cut the time to charge by a lot.

Yes, the charger that comes with the car plugs into a regular outlet, but charges about 4 miles per hour. A level 2 charger can charge the full 260 miles in about 8/9 hours. A level 3 charging station charges it about 100 miles in a half hour. There seems to be a charging station on route 70, right near route 9 in Lakewood.

Additionally, NJ is in the process of releasing a rebate of $500 towards the purchase and installation of car chargers. Itís best to get a 40 Amp charger, and thereís a ĎMuststartí Charger for $350 on Amazon with many great reviews. As far as installing an upgraded outlet/wiring, I got a quote for $200 from a local electrician, but it may depend on how far your circuit breaker is from the location of your outlet - mine is at the edge of my garage, so the outlet would be very close by. It is also way less expensive than gas.

I just got 2 of these today. The dealer is not taking anymore reservations at the moment. He has almost 100 people on the waiting list. Final total after NJ 5k rebate was $3,000 for 36 months with 10k miles, and $750 for $7,500 damage waiver. I will keep the forum updated if anything changes in regards to reservation availability. Please do not pm me in regards to this lease as I cannot help you.

The Ioniq EV SE and Limited trim are pretty cheap in NJ this month, too.

How do I find a dealer in NJ with a Bolt?
Does Costco coupon work outside of Costco?

Regular outlet works for mostly local driving like commuting to work. Assuming you drive 50 miles per day and it charges for 10 hours, that means every morning your range will be 10 miles less than the day before. If you keep it charging over shabbos, you'll recharge it back to 100%.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Effective under $100 a month for the SE with everything rolled in, after the NJ rebate. Around $160 for the Limited. 10k miles/year. About another $10/month for 12k.

If anyone ever becomes aware of a similar deal in NY, kindly PM me.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

NY has a $2,000 rebate for fully electric, but they do charge sales tax.

NY has a $2,000 rebate for fully electric, but they do charge sales tax.

So it's not similar, as it won't end up costing < $100/mo.

So you're saying, when the state of NY changes their rebate to $5k, we should let you know?

Changes the rebate, waives sales tax, or there's some other kind of deal or rebate that results in such favorable monthly cost. Please do let me know. TIA.

How do I find a dealer in NJ with a Bolt?
Does Costco coupon work outside of Costco?
https://www.chevrolet.com/dealer-locator#!?searchTerm=08701&searchType=postalCode
You can call all the dealers on the list (must be a NJ dealership) and ask them if they have the Chevrolet Bolt available to lease. If they do you should ask them what the final price is after the following:
1) $3,000 Costco incentive
2) Lease conquest incentive (should be about $1,500 off if you currently have another lease in your household)
3) One pay option (pay the full lease amount upfront)
4) $5,000 NJ EV rebate

You should probably also ask them what they charge for a damage waiver, as that will not be rolled into the price they quote you. There also may be a difference in price between 10k or 12k miles.

If anyone finds a dealership that is willing to work with you and the price is right please let all of us know.

Thank you and good luck!

I called a dealer in NJ today, he said pricing changed and currently would come out 5400 for 10k/36 months after everything thatís 150 per month. If anyone has a dealer with the old pricing please let me know
