I think you're wrong, if you look closely at the site, it's written that you can only get the $7,500 tax credit if you got the car way back.
correct, my mistake.

This is 100% incorrect you get a $7,500 federal tax rebate for the bolt.

right now does not seem to be great at all compared to last year.  Nissan quoted me over $400 per month for 3 year lease even with the NJ rebate :o

The deals and incentives and mark downs are just not there across the board for all dealers and inventory very scarce as well so not much incentive to move the stock from the lot.

NJ rebate lacks usefulness if the dealers keep their prices high

might still make sense for some who have to get a lease now but I think I will stay on the sidelines this time around

It is very useful! When it is more profitable to the dealer then they push it harder.

Seems like some people don't realize this, so I'm issuing a PSA.

The federal tax credit is for purchases only, not leases. The lessor gets it, not the leasee. Happens to be most manufacturers will pass it on in the form of manufacturer incentives.

CCAP is passing it on, on the 4xe lease.

GM recalling all Chevy Bolts 2017-2022 due to fire risk. Check the news...

Quote
GM is warning owners not to charge their Bolts in or near their homes overnight, and to park the vehicles outside when not being charged. It’s also asking owners not to charge their Bolts above 90 percent, or to deplete the battery to below 70 miles of remaining range.

Owners should follow these guidelines until replacement modules — the groups of batteries that make up the pack — are ready. It’s not clear when that will be, though. GM says it will “only begin replacing battery modules in customer vehicles when GM and LG are confident in the safety of LG’s product.”

My motto is never buy anything that LG touches. If someone here owned a G4 and had to bake it in the oven (shoddy soldering) to stop it from turning off after a few minutes (which they never admitted to, only Sprint actually recalled it) or a G5 which they released with less than Beta software and the battery kept on getting loose and would turn off, etc. would know what I'm talking about.

Now they are telling Bolt owners not to park within 50 feet of any other cars and not to charge the Bolt unattended. LOL. Do they expect owners to stand outside all night?
