Can you get the 7500 tax credit for buying out the lease?

The $7,500 credit is only for new vehicles.

Used vehicles are now eligible for a credit up to $4,000. More here

I'm not sure why you're saying that. It doesn't even come close to the NJ Bolt or Ioniq deals with effective payments of sub $100/month.

Update regarding my 2 Chevrolet Bolt Lemon Law claims. I was denied for a repurchase, so I filed a Lemon Law claim through Kimmel & Silverman PC, New Jersey Lemon Law Firm. Robert Silverman was able to get reimbursement for the full amount of my lease (including the 5k NJ rebate) plus my interim rentals which totaled out to about $12,500.

If you decide to use him, you can tell him that Jacob Ely referred you. No, I do not get a commission, I was just really happy with them and wanted to share..

Those deals are not around anymore. The point was that a $350/month lease is 3-5 times the amount of those deals.

It's the same concept. Just a much better vehicle at a higher price point.
(The old version [cheaper product at a cheaper cost] doesn't exist anymore.

You got $12,500 for each bolt or for both bolts? How much did you get for the rental and how much for the actual lease?

I know that a lot of people used Timothy Abeel Law Firm he only got back $6,500

So you would consider a Tesla 4-5 times better to justify a 4-5 times higher price?

Most people who are leasing these cars just want something cheap to drive around. It's not a comparison at all.

If it would be possible to get a Bolt or Ioniq for under $100 today, you would have a fair point.

I have a neighbor who is seriously considering leasing a M3 because it's the cheapest lease he can find.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I get that. Still doesn't justify calling it a good deal in the same league as these were. It's just not a comparison.

As an aside, I'm hoping in the next couple of months, lease deals will return. Already seeing some pretty decent ones (especially on the higher end).

did anybody use the chevy referred/$1000 credit for installation of a level 2 charge in your house.  Qmerrit give the quotes and it appears it might be over $1000 or more to install?  is that reasonable or insane?
