He did quite well for someone his age
?

He was hospitalized and given intensive treatment. There is no way to know how well he did/is doing but a great majority of 74 year olds will not end up on a ventilator or anywhere close, especially those with no history of heart trouble or diabetes.

Would he have been hospitalized if he wasn't POTUS?

Yes. He had low oxygen a few times. I believe his doctor called one incident "serious."

I don’t know, but you certainly can’t infer that he’s doing well for someone his age

For sure but how is that a response?

President Trump is planning to host hundreds of people on the South Lawn of the White House on Saturday for his first in-person event since he announced he had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The president was expected to make remarks from one of the balconies at the White House to the crowd, which was expected to include people attending an event elsewhere in Washington staged by Trump supporter Candace Owens.

Nobody wore masks and there was no distancing. He's learned nothing. He just doesn't care.

Thanks for posting. It just me or is this so flowery that it’s hard to tell if the PCR test came back negative or positive?

Disclaimer: I am by no means a Trump supporter and think he is a despicable human being, but I am capable of being intellectually honest.
I think it's become standard practice that you don't need a PCR negative test to establish non-infectiousness and that 10 days from onset of symptoms + 24 hour fever free you are free to go back to society
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

He could've said that, but he didn't

My question was asked objectively and wasn’t taking sides. If what you’re saying is true why is the statement all about PCR, and “flowerly” so?

Also, 24 hours after abatement of fever for COVID? The official guidance I’ve seen was 3 days or longer after abatement of (all?) symptoms.

That was some word salad if that's the point he was trying to convey. Something seems off.

Remember, this doctor hasn't been completely forthcoming with the condition in the past.

The cdc website now says 24 hours. I also had thought it was 72.

It seems most agree, that as long as your getting better and have no underlying symptoms plus it's been 10 days since one gets infected, it's not contagious.
The doctor here isn't just reporting facts he has to report flowery, that's his job..

He is simply saying that while the pcr test shows it's there, by current recognized standards, it's not contagious.

I wouldn't read too much into it. In fact, you reading into it is probably why it was written that way. It's Trump's MO: kak oif mir, pish oif mir, abi oif mir.
