Relative of mine paid $0. He went to get the vaccine  in order to fly to Israel. The nurse started a conversation  with him about how bad the vaccine  is.
Seeing as he was on the same page and he only wanted it for the card she squirted it in the trash.

Very disconcerting for a medical professional. If people want to be vaccine skeptics that's their prerogative (and for a different discussion), but medical professionals doing one thing and reporting another (due to their personal views on the matter) sounds like a slippery slope to me.

It's not a slippery slope, she's long tumbled to the bottom of the hill.

I'm erring on the side of open-mindedness so I don't end up debating the matter with the likes of the poster I quoted (assuming they share views with their relative).

You place way too much confidence in the medical professionalism of nurses.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

Even if the nurses will squirt most of it onto the floor, it's still worth sharing if even one drop is injected into the prince.

I appreciate the open-mindedness.
For the record I do not agree with this relative. Nor with other relatives that have even stronger opinions about vaccines and western medicine. It does lend to some entertaining "discussions" at the shabbos table though.

More common than you think. I know some that paid $500 but heard as low as $300.

Considering how common it sounds like this is, from word on the street, those numbers seem high.

You are right, it seems like a dangerous proposition for those doing it. It definitely shouldn't be discussed online.

It wouldn't surprise me at all that many of the "breakthrough" cases (with strong symptoms) amongst athletes are actually first-time covid cases e.g. Joel Embiid.

You think Andrew Wiggins actually got the shot?
