Fiji is officially very strict (stricter then Australia/NZ). Basically you can only bring meat or cheese from Australia or New Zealand no matter what kind (even shelf-stable is prohibited).
When you arrive in Fiji they give you an arrival form that you have to fill out asking if you have any food, you also need to put all your suitcases through x-ray machine which actually works! lol
I would advise declaring if you bring any food as otherwise, you can get a FJD400 fine. However, the agents aren't supper thorough so you might be able to get some stuff through if you know how to play the game.
