In March and April, when people were dropping like flies, it was a matter of pikuach nefesh in the eyes of many. And for all his attempts to get the police or mayor to do anything, he was wildly unsuccessful.

Now, 6 months later, people are still carrying such a grudge that they'll all but justify getting him beaten up on the street.

I had no idea who these 2 guys were until yesterday, but just reading the last few pages of this thread plus a cursory Google search tells me that they're not people I would want to associate with, let alone defend. That doesn't mean attacking them (if they in fact were) is defensible.

The only difference I can see between them and Tischler is the Trump sign.

Anyone who can attack another human being isn’t one himself.

Not sure how hashtagging his media buddies with videos of events already over is going to save anyone. And he knows more than anyone how they love to do hit pieces.

Do you really think this is anywhere near over?

Why should the psak be different?

Who says his psak applies to America? There’s no such a thing these days as a blanket psak

I meant footage of a specific gathering that ended. Sending them to the media never prevented the next one from taking place.

remove kornbluth from the equation and the jewish community did plenty of sickening attention-grabbing all on its own.
It was actually very nice last night before he arrived.

Don’t know about the halachos of mesirah other than the idea of killing a moser not applying nowadays. But furthermore, if they were in fact snitching on unsafe shuls and weddings, it certainly doesn’t sound like classic mesirah to me. Based on medical consensus they likely have saved multiple lives, while classic mesirah brings on criminal charges, prison, death, etc., none of which is applicable here.

Now the irony of labeling someone as a sinner in order to transgress multiple serious aveiros themselves only strengthens the argument that they simply beat them up because they are bullies and they hate them, pure and simple. Any justification for the radical jihadists is abhorrent.

I don't know that he's looking to prevent the next protest. Maybe he's trying to garner attention to force the community to compromise and add safety measures. I'm not arguing for or against, I'm just saying that there could be a value for him.

Also, he's a journalist. Recording events that happened and publicizing them is kinda his job.

Based on whose psak did he decide he's allowed to snitch? Just as bad as the guys who decided they're allowed to beat up the moser is the guy who decided he's allowed to maaser. There is no justification for either.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

And since they come from more than one place hashkafically, they are mixed nuts.

And after @Yehuda57 gets through with them, they'll be roasted nuts.

It seems like he did more than anyone else to keep shuls open.
