TBH many people who have their vote mailed in aren't among the living.

No one (that I'm aware of) has a problem with absentee ballots for people who are uncomfortable voting in person.
The problem is with the universal mail-in voting.

When someone applies for an absentee ballot, there are human eyes checking the data to make sure it's the right person and that they are eligible to vote in that state at the time. (as was caught in Florida, when someone applied for his deceased wife)

But, with universal mail-in voting, there have already been numerous cases of ballots that were sent for people that don't live in that state anymore and for those no longer among the living just within our own communities, and probably a whole lot more across the states.

Out of curiosity, LMK if you see a ballot for me.
