You're missing his first major offense: Going on live TV at the mayor's press conference in front of a tremendous audience to masser on a shul near him. He wasn't ashamed to give full details, address and all on live TV and complain to the mayor why he's not enforcing... And that there's many more that are open too that he doesn't have full details yet.

That was just low.

The story was on the top of the hour WCBS news. The secondary stories were Barrett nomination and Trump debate cancellation, which were both objectively huge stories. It wasn't exactly a slow news say. There is clearly a lot of media interest.

Nothing to overblow, no one else has done what he did, stopped to such a low level.

As per the media, if you follow the Twittersphere, you'd know that the media is all over him and adore him now. They are his community now, his newfound religion. Whenever he's attacked they are there at his defense. Not sure why he hasn't moved out of BP yet.

You're all missing the point. The media was there before JK was even attacked. HT cannot blame his problems on anyone but HT. I don't even think HT thinks he has any problems. He got everything he wanted, short of an election win.

This article is very telling. The story is HT and the phenomenon of "ultra-Orthodox Jews rioting," with the JK story buried halfway through.

Tischler and Kornbluh are two separate and distinct problems. No need to conflate and confuse one with the other even though the issues happen to be related.

Kornbluh snitched on live TV long before the HT issues.

This was in March when people were dropping like flies. He felt, and there were many rabonim that agreed, it was sakanos nefashos. In hindsight, he was wrong. But to call him a Nazi, Kapo (how can you be both?), moser, etc. based on pikuach nefesh, come on.

This is now 6 months later. The media was in Borough Park before the protests. Yes, he exagerrated things, and yes, I'm no fan of his, but people are overblowing his affect. As I said earlier, ESH, but in the search to find one boogeyman to blame everything on, people are finding JK or HT. The truth is, there is no one single issue at play.
