Honda CRV is up this week and can't extend it anymore. I see they don't allow 3rd party buyouts.
Is there a way to capitalize on it's equity though? Would it make sense to buy it ourselves and then trade it in (maybe after driving it for a bit longer)?

Would a honda dealer trade it in for another lease?
you can go in to a honda dealer and ask them. No one wanted my car (passport) in august. But they told me they wouldve paid me had it been a pilot so YMMV

Dealers can buy it out. Some of the 3rd parties have a dealer process it for them. Rodo comes to mind. Search the thread
